Join our 10-days meditation retreat
Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Pali and also teaching Pali at the University of Mumbai. I am interested in research (mostly finding the answers to my own questions from Pali Literature i.e. asking questions directly from the Buddha) also I like teaching, and I feel good when I am with students. My interest in spiritual journey actually started in childhood itself. As a child, there were so many questions in my mind regarding this existence, this body, form, birth, and death, various existence like animals, and trees, regarding my own existence, who am I, from where have I come, why am I like this, so so so many questions. For so many years I was just searching the answers. This quest landed me in meditation and Pali Learning.
I started Vipassana Meditation practice from the year 2008, I got a few answers through meditation and reading the Pali Suttas but still, something was missing, until I found TWIM. Jan 2020, I did an offline Tens days TWIM retreat with Bhante Vimalaramsi, Ven. Khanti Khema, Bhante Dhammagavesi at Yavatmal, Maharashtra. Daily personal interviews and interactions with teachers helped me a lot and they solved all my queries and motivated me in the right direction. I started getting answers to my long waited questions. I understood 6Rs and their importance in practice, understanding the working of the mind, the impersonal nature of mind and matter, the power of letting go, the power of forgiveness, the power of metta (loving-kindness), the importance of Sila (virtuous), etc. Also understood that Metta (Loving-kindness) and Forgiveness are very powerful tools one can have.
I have started implementing TWIM in my daily life. Meditation is not just to be done only in retreats, but it has to be practiced every moment.
Just remember,
Every New Day is a New Birth New Beginning…….. Just Let go and move ahead.
Don’t take it personally.
Forgive yourself, Forgive others, Forgive the situation, be content, and have gratitude.
🌷 Be Happy. Keep Smiling. Lots of Metta 🌷
