"Today during my morning sit which was from 8-11am I was able to radiate metta for the first hour until my body dissolved and I felt no discomfort at all. And my mind got so quiet and I was able to see just the vibrations that eventually become thoughts and I was able to relax these vibrations before they become distractions. It was so clear how all things in the 6 sense doors arise due to some cause and how ignorantly we tend to react to them and create a mental proliferation about these things in our mind. When none of it is under our control. It’s all just happening and I was able to watch this process for many hours today. It was very beautiful state to be in it even stretched into meal time and as I walked. The quiet mind stayed along as I kept 6ring all the distractions before they took my mind to far into mental proliferation. This is a very amazing technique. I am able to sleep peacefully after a long time since I have begun practicing this meditation. Very grateful to Venerable Bhante Vimalaramsi for gifting this precious teaching of Shakyamuni Buddha where meditation becomes a 24 × 7 practice spontaneously. Very grateful to you too Sir for helping me and guiding me appropriately. It is helping me a lot. Waking up in the morning, practicing whole day and going to bed radiating loving kindness, compassion for oneself and everyone around practicing Dāna Paramitā is the best practice I have done so far and shall continue to do it. Blessed be the Shakyamuni Buddha, Blessed be his Dhamma and Blessed be his Noble Ārya Sangha (I say this wholeheartedly everytime I feel gratitude towards The Triple Gem wholeheartedly and when I become aware of the intensity of it like how I am feeling while practicing this meditation). I have always seen the Shakyamuni Buddha as my Father, Mother and Teacher. I share and dedicate all the good merit with lots of compassion and gratitude to the person who advised me to learn and practice TWIM meditation.
