In 2016 he completed an online retreat through David Johnson that was based on the early lessons of the Buddha and was introduced to Tranquil Wisdom Insight Meditation. Delson naturally grasped the concepts of this approach to meditation and, since then, he has taken a deep dive into the practice and the suttas and is easily able to guide students to the most sublime stages of peace and wisdom. He was asked by Venerable Bhante Vimalaramsi Mahathero specifically to start teaching. He has also interacted with research institutions into neuroscience, cognitive behavioral therapy, and the phenomenology of meditation in the Netherlands.
Dhammacariya Sobhana provides weekly talks based on the suttas from the Nikayas online via Zoom. He has produced a meditation video series called ‘Freedom of Mind’ and continues to prepare new content on deep concepts from the Buddha’s teachings. His most recent book ‘A Mind Without Craving’ is now available on Amazon. While guiding online and retreats, he supports individuals on their journey one on one during 10-day retreats. When situations allow for it, he is open to guiding physical retreats around the world upon invitation. His teachings are freely available to all.
